Kids shooting baskets at home or playing in domestic competitions sometimes look to have greater challenges in the sport of basketball. The Melbourne Tigers offers those challenges for most kids who want to play.

Our club is especially interested in 8 year olds to 12 year olds who have a keen interest in playing sport and who have some athletic ability. Height in basketball is also a bonus.

Our programs try to cater for a number of different ages levels and abilities. For those who are not afraid of hard work to achieve their dreams we can connect you with the right coaching staff to facilitate this happening.

At the "just starting to play" age groups (8 yeas old to 12 years old), the club mainly focuses on improving players skills (passing, dribbling & shooting). At the older age groups we also have programs that may suit what you want. The different programs we have on offer are;
