Welcome to the Melbourne Tigers Junior Basketball Club

The Melbourne Tigers is Australia’s most recognisable and successful basketball brand and has been operating for more than 75 years. Yes, we are a basketball club, but our inspiration and motivation goes beyond this.

At a junior level the club exists to help young boys and girls develop into resilient young men and women, armed with the right values and skills to help them in adulthood. This is achieved through the sport of basketball.

We have approximately 500 male and female athletes in the club and field representative teams at the highest level in the country, but also welcome and do our best to accommodate athletes of all abilities. The common thread for success is a desire to commit the time, energy and right attitude to get the best of what we can offer. Plus, we need to all have fun along the way!
